Id like to know a little about the PR head. I own a micra and it sounds like a good option, shoud I get a PR head or boosterhead? Got any beamshots?

Re: Info on longbow PR head

Beam shots would be essentially identical to any beamshots of PR, PR-T, Aleph 1 or Pelican PM6 LED beam shots as effectively the same reflector is used by all. The stock micra LED module requires a modified PR or 27 MM reflector as the reflector can not seat down on the LED as far as in the cases of the other PR or 27 MM hosts.

I dont know where you got the part about PR head being better. The booster head uses a 30mm optic if I am not mistaken. The PR head uses an MCR27(27mm)reflector. So do you want a lot of throw or spill with still an incredible amount of light? I remember someone saying he gets somewhere around 1100 lux with the PR, while he gets over 2000 with the booster head which is not surprising because it uses a very large optic.

I never said PR head was better, but I see what you meant, and Ill change it.
