Inova 2008 T1 battery orientation

This question is going to make me sound like a dummy but hey, I'm used to that. Does anyone know which way the batteries should point in the 2008 Inova T1 and T2? The tailcap isn't marked and I don't know whether the light has reverse polarity protection. I've looked all over CPF and I can't find the answer. Same with the internet. Please remember that I'm referring to the 2008 model.

Negative end points toward the head, positive toward the tail switch.

Perfect, that's what I needed to know. My X5 is that way but was also confused since the T1 and T2 don't have polarity markings. Thanks!
