Which would you think would be the better flashlight as it pretains to runtime / throw.

Streamlight XL20 with a XL35 bulb

Surefire 9AN commander with Turbohead

M4 running a MN11 bulb with 2 168S PILA

M4 running a MN60 bulb with 3 168S PILA

That is a trick question because those batteries have different characteristics over lifetime. So the answer is "depends"...

I sincerely wish that I could tell you with real confidence... because that would mean I had hands-on experience with them. Unfortunately my only contact with them is the paper or video versions. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon23.gif

Hi, You cannot run 3 168s in the M4 with any lamp it will only hold 2 168s Batts to add the third 168s you would have to use extra hardware.

Too bad you did not list the SL-35x in your list. Load that with 9amp NiMH's and you are talking about 2.5 to 2.75 hours of runtime. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
