Updated! Elevated from 3 to 4 Stars due to much better luxeon star selection (color and brightness are MUCH better) and support of the collimator lens in the head of the light.

i have a question.

i have an inretech on 2 lithiums. though it is brighter than the first one i had (the first was VERY green and dim), it is still somewhat green, and only musters ~80 lux at 1 meter--with fresh lithiums.

i am honestly a little frustrated, because everyone keeps saying that the new inretechs are brighter and whiter. (i admit that i really enjoyed the inretech on my trip out west)

do you get 200 lux at 1 meter? on alkalines, correct?

guess i better return this to Mike...

200 lux at one meter with alkalines. YMMV, as all luxeons are not created equal. This is a rather nice one. My first is green and only about 85 at one meter. If you're only gettting 80 on lithiums, it's not a very good luxeon.

@Quickbeam - Do you have some rechargeable alkalines at hand ? Fresh out of the charger they have a voltage around 1.7 V and should run that LS pretty close to specs. If you have some of those I'd really appreciate a brightness comparison and maybe runtime tests...
