Re: Interest Thread: MiniM@g Big Head Conversion (1st Run)

Thank you everyone for your interest. However, I sense some confusion in your reply. I'm sorry for not being clear. I want to clearify that BHC comes with head, reflector and lens, and nothing else. The reason why I put possible mod there is to provide examples of what can be done to upgrade your MiniM@g to utilize BHC to its full potential. As for hotwire, I'm not sure if it will work with BHC that's why I put "?" there. I would love to get a hold of one to test it. I hope this clear up the confusion. Thanks.

Re: Interest Thread: MiniM@g Big Head Conversion (1st Run)

The Minimag hotwire kits will probably work with this head with the McR27 or McR27L reflectors, since it has tested to work with the McR20 in the past. Though the reflector are purposedly design for lux and it might not be most efficient with bulbs, the result should still be quite stunning.

However, the lux III or lux V sammie will probably have loads of fun with this. Personally, I love to see both this reflectors offered with different length bezel ring to accomodate either reflectors(if it is possible) :)

H22A,
Hi H22A,
I can do well in Minimag Hotwire kit from AuroraLite.
I bought 1AA Extra Large Head from you, and tried Minimag Hotwire kit with Storion bulb. It work very well.
Since I used the IMS27 plastic reflector, I stopped use immediately, I think that a metal reflector succeeds.
