Well I'm sitting here thinking... How am I going to carry my 1xAA lights in my jacket inside pocket (or any pocket at that!) without risking accidental turn-on. Pocket clip of course. But none has one. Nor one available and easily installed.

So that leaves me with two options, but a pre-made one, drill itty bitty little holes, tap and bolt the clip on... or the approach that legions of people before me have slaughtered; make your now clip on, snap on, what ever one clip.

So thinking about it I came up with an idea... I'm pretty handy; done some easy to medium torch modding, lotsa bike and car repairs and all sorts of stuff, but never been much for metal fabrication. Just never goes well for me. Anyhow, you all are familar with those split rings we all use to keep keys organized and attached? Well, take that concept, just open it up and bent down the ends into a pocket clip. You'd obviously need to use a long spring wire than typical, but it could come out fairly easy to install and remove from the torch, very secure (won't pop off like mag aa and aaa pocket clips) and shouldnt cause too much finish damage. And provided the proper engineering/construction should provide for very secure carry for many lights. Plus, I would think for those with the means it would cheap, fast and easy to construct with the only requirements being a measurement for the O.D. of the torch and how long you want the clip.

Just kinda thinking here, basically avoiding sleep  But what do ya'all think? Anybody wanna take it and run?
