Interesting Street Lights

That's a typo. I talked to the US sales manager last week and he said the 75W unit runs for 12 hours on an 8-hour charge IIRC. Keep in mind that the panel on the pole is constantly exposed to something on the order of 10 sq.ft. of sunlight.

The 75W unit wasn't from the Aria line, but it does exist and is f-ing bright.

We have looked into their product before. Nice but high $$$.

Yep. About $1/day each if they're run for 13 years. More worth it if you want to go carbon-neutral or run the things off the grid entirely, which is a really interesting prospect IMO.

Yep. I like the idea of it...Solar powered Street lights. I think that would be a good idea. (well, with some kind of back up if the Cells don't pick up enough UV).
