This is my first time charging a Stinger. How do I know when it is done. It's been going for well over 15 hours but the little light on the charger is still red. I didn't see anything that said it would change, I just assumed it would.

Does anyone know if the light changes state when done?

By the way, how do the Nicad batteries in the stinger compare to the Li-ion in the strion? Is the strion a much better battery solution? What are the pros an cons of each? which would you expect to get more recharges from?

The link I posted above will help you out immensley regarding charging questions but yes to answer your question your Stinger is charged after being left on the charger for 10 hours for what is considered a full charge and is recommend for a first time initial charge...

Thanks Dukester,

I have this in the paper form, but I'm a bit nit-picky. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. So, since it didn't specifically say the light doesn't change when charging is done, I thought it might.
