The Rage is the 4AAA model right?
I have one. It's actually pretty bright.
When I want to see how a flashlight's output compares to another, I visit Brock's site and look at the Watts values.

The Rage is a bright, excellent little light, but with a disappointingly short runtime, at least for my use.
