Is the RoadPro RPAT996 ok?

3 million candle power, over one hour run time. Is this a good spot light. Too heavy, etc?

This is the first time I see this. Large reflector, so the beam should be passable. Can be heavy as a 1 hour run time with lead acid battery with a 100W H1 or H3 halogen lamp requires a 12Ah capacity. Heavy! None of the websites mention weight or bulb used.

It's 8 inches in diameter and has a separate battery pack. It could well be a 12AH pack.

It sounds like a killer spotlight. From the pictures, the spotlight itself has a cigarette lighter cord and then that plugs into the separate battery pack which appears to have a shoulder strap.

I got a new battery for the Banana Vector...the problem with these is how to store and use them. The 8" reflector exacerbates the problem as compared to the banana.

I think I've seen these or similar lights at truck stops and haven't picked them up.
