Is the TK20 bad looking (ugly)?

Although being a subjective issue,in my opinion is not at all .Ugly look other chinese flashlight products like Olight..

Ive got the TK20 and although it's not as awesome looking as the Dereelight Javelin, it's not an ugly light by any stretch of the imagination.

It's quite streamlined and is a very comfortable light in the hand, has good throw, and certainly holds it's own outside as it seems to penetrate better in hazy conditions than the other whiter brighter lights.

And it certainly is built to last.

I always thought my TK20 looked like a chicken drumstick.

Loved the build quality, disliked the look, detested the placement of the clip and hated the tint. Sold it.

I don't think TK20 is ugly at all, I think it's nice looking. In the same way I don't think it's large sized. Actually it's one of the few Fenix lights which really is made for a stable and comfortable hold. I don't understand why Fenix don't make more lights with similar design and rubber grip.

Regards, Patric

Kind of like how it looks, it actually looks like it belongs in a flat bed truck or doing something out doors...

I've owned a TK20 for some time and I never thought of it as being ugly. Actually I think it's a fine looking flashlight.

The TK20 is not very photogenic. It looks ugly on pictures, but when I got mine last year, I was very pleasantly surprised. I think it looks good in person (if only internet dating worked the same...) I'm surprised to see some people still find it ugly in person... probably has to do with the personality. It's one heck of a light and no comment on it's looks can take away from what it is...

honestly i never thought of the TK20 as nothing less the absolute perfection. oh... and it looks good too. :grin2:

Got my very first TK20 in yellow yesterday and not only does it look great, it FEELS great. The heavy head balanced by the narrow handle is perfect in the hands. Both the people I handed it to (non-flashaholics) immediately said "Ooo, it has a good weight to it".

So far, love it.

I wouldn't call it ugly but it's not handsome. The TK20 is one of my favorites. I'll overlook any perceived beauty issues.

I like the look of the TK20 in both the yellow and gray grips. I liked it so much, I bought a gray one recently. After using it now for about a month outdoors, I absolutely *love* the TK20. It's a great light that just works well, looks great, and doesn't break the bank.

TK20 ugly, funny thing that I've never thinked of that....does Abrams tank need viper stripes?
It's a tool not a shelf queen.

No, its not ugly...and feels better in the hand than about anything I have bought. I agree with Wade...the perfect car light with 2x energizer lithiums in it. Plus, it is a very Tankish light...with thick tube walls. Also, it will tail stand...and has a great tint for outdoor use. I would think it is as tough as any regular light out there (including SF's new 2xAA e2l version...for 1/3 the price) What more could you want! Give it a chance...you will like it.

Online photos don't do the light nay justice, when you have it in your hand the reassuring weight and tint and throw overcome the looks which I personally think are fine.

I buy flashlights to look at things, not to look at...... well, mostly :D :duh2:

When it's in your hand are you really going to care??

TK20 ugly, funny thing that I've never thinked of that...................It's a tool not a shelf queen.
I like my tools to be good looking. I have one set of spanners that I can't help but admire every time I put them to a nut, so sleek and shapely. Even my grease gun has a very sexy blue paintjob.....
