Is there an upgrade for Nichia Jupiter LED??

I just purchased a bike light that is terrific except for I discovered it uses a Nichia Jupiter. Does Nichia have an upgrade for this emitter. I believe it is only around 60-65 lumens per watt. It has a much different beam pattern than a Cree and I would like to stick with the lights optic since it works well. Using a Cree makes a terrrible beam profile.

the Jupiter LED is classed under Nichia Io Moon...and uh, its a square LED resembling a two pinned TO-252 chip...I'm not entirely sure if it is upgradeable

They discontinued that part. I would look at the 183R series - runs at 10.5 VDC and is about 120 LPW.
