I'm new at this, but that name, Geoff Kim who is selling this rings a bell.

My assumption is that this is made in China too but I could be wrong. The battery holder certainly is. The flood gates seem to be starting to open with some very high value to the dollar lights coming from China. Of course, with 3 AAA, this thing is probably UNREGULATED. But with 700ma AAA Ni-Mhs, it should stay pretty level.

Quite tempting indeed.
