Well it's been over 2 years and who knows how many hours of use. Probably a few hundred at least. I've dropped it about 20 times, kicked it across a concrete floor several times and recharged it more times than I can remember. I've used it in the underhand weapons technique and fired rounds in night training with it and it hasn't failed me yet..................Until last night

The lamp on my Wolf-Eyes M90 (Pila GL4R) finally crapped out on me last night. This lamp has served me well and the rechargable batteries have already saved me money. I'm glad I have a few replacements so it's a fresh lamp and I'm good to go again. If this one lasts the same amount of time with the rough use I give it I'll be well pleased.
BTW: the lamp assembles are PILA and not Wolf Eyes.

Sounds like you got your moneys worth. I guess you never know when a lamp is going to crap out on you. I also have enjoyed good performance with the Pila's GLR4 & GL3RX I run 150s and the 168s in assorted SF lights.

GL3RX is in my battle bag with a 9v LED Emitter (red) I use it to clear buildings when I don't want to blow the night vision. I carry a spare lamp in the battle bag just for cases like this. My G2 and G2Z use PILA 3.7V lamps, the G2Z is one of my spare duty lights. Also use Z3 with PILA's. I'll probably let my DL123's go dead from sitting since I eally don't need them /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I carry A G2Z using the 3.7 lamp with a 168s almost everyday
I like it just fine.

The 6v Surefire's work better with the PILA 3.7 lamp and 168s than they do with the Surefire P60.
I purchased one from JS Burly, delivery was fast and price was more than fair. I have the same set up in my G2 & G2Z and I have the Pila's in my Z3 also. The PILA 9v lamp works as well as the P90. One thing I like about the PILA lamps is that you get more side spill from them. This makes it better for me while clearing a building or doing traffic stops as it helps to light the perimeter better. If I need to search outside for a suspect hiding or need more throw I'll use the Z3 and P90.
