60-70 lumens ?
Send your E50 back for repair.
No way !
Read what Breathing Borla said.
Some companies tries to gain an edge by inflating their lumen numbers.

The other guy (maxilux) said the E50 only had 60-70 lumens.

I think the point Hawk600 was trying make was that the lumens were rated way higher (230) on the E50 than the pelican 7060 (130 lumens), so he was trying to show that it was putting out more light with the whole lux thing.

Maybe I'm wrong
No, you're not wrong (i think)

i have C10T and swap the reflector using McGizmo 17mm + UCL lens.
and i also have the C9R + UCL lens for my wife.
i love the quality driver in it because of the reverse polarity protection + the variable brightness.
can't go wrong with that type of price range.

well I got the light and rechargeable bat set-up. Wow, I am really impressed by the output of this thing. Battery charger works great, stays cool and the led indicator works perfectly.

The adjustment system for the light output works really well and is easy to use. I was pleasantly surprised how far the throw is on this thing.

I use it several times a night to look for coyotes prior to letting my dog out. There are tons of them around. I wanted something small so I can leave it on the counter by the door without hearing the "war department" complain.

This light replaces the Ledbeam I was using. I was tired of the great output for a few minutes and then it would dull way down and also buying a lot of c batteries.

I also had a rayovac sportsmen that has two AA and supposedly 100 lumens. This one

I fired up the rayovac on the wall and then the itp-e50 next to it. I was blown away in that you couldn't even see the rayovac was on. It is now in the truck for general use.

good stuff.

ITP-e50 = great light for 40 bucks

also the battery kit I got from batteryjunction seems to be real nice

Output discussion aside, is good to know that you are happy with the light and it is not dimmer, being definitively a good option for the price.
Thank you for the feedback!

Thanks. After having one now, there is no output discussion. This thing puts out a ton for $40 bucks.

Can't wait till it gets dark tonight:naughty:

Maybe I'll try to snap a picture or two of lighting up the trees across the open space and the street from my house:eek:

Just thought I post a quick update.

light, batteries and charger working flawlessly. It gets used every night several times a night to let the dog out (damn coyotes).

I charge the bats once a week.

I did have the light turn off all the sudden. I was not used to a regulated light that went from bright to off.:twothumbs
