Does anyone know of these and/or have experience with them?

Reading about fried lights because of improper battery installation has got me kind of spooked about LED flashlights. I have been known to make a mistake or 2 in my lifetime. This one sounds kind of expensive
and possibly dangerous if I'm 20 miles out in the back country.:mecry:

From the manufacturer's specs it seems that the A series do not have polarity protection. They didnt mention on the EOS nor the Polestar. I only see it in the C and E series. Just be aware when putting a battery in

Are you aware of any other manufacturers that have the reverse polarity protection feature?

I just received the EOS. You are correct about that model not having the protection. So, I carefully inserted the battery as directed by the manufacturer's instructions. NOW I SEE THE LIGHT!!! :twothumbs
