Maybe deciding which flashlight(device) to use should be decided on the best/least expensive battery available. Seems the winner might be used A123 26650.50¢ or less each, with lots of life left. They fit nicely in C Cell devices but there is a voltage increase and spring adjustment. I am also thinking of making adapters for my D cell devices when the NMHi go bad... don't hold your breath. The four row chargers are around $20. Tip: One cell replaces two and the flashlight works normally. Needs adapter or longer spring. In three cell devices 2 cells almost fit (spring stretch) and almost a doubleing of voltage.Lawrence Rhodes
