UltraRunner
Newly Enlightened
I'm a freelance photographer/video producer and recently had a shoot for Runner's World. I was doing a documentary with lot's of night action shooting. I wanted a lightweight, free/cheap small light that could just fill in faces a tad to maintain reality and not overpower the scene. Hmmmm. I noticed the shotgun microphone mount on my on my HDV video camera was about the size of my EDC JetBeam. A trip to the parts drawer in the basement yielded a pvc pipe I could cut to use as a step down ring to hold the jet. Now the issue was the jet was too spotlight like. A piece of spun diffusion taped over the front fixed that.

At around 1:28 - 2:05, it's all the jet.
