Jetbeam CL-E v2 in stock anywhere?

does anyone know if there are any jetbeam cl-e v2's in stock online anywhere?

i ordered one from bugoutgear.com with our discount, but that was back on november 18th. the light was out of stock with an ETA of november 23rd. since then, the ETA has been pushed back 6 different times and is now dec 12th.

i'd rather cancel my order and buy it from someone that has it in stock for a little more money than continue to wait and hope bugoutgear.com will actually have them to sell before christmas.

how long ago did you buy it from them?

i just want to know if they have them in stock, and are shipping from Massachusetts.
 
bought one yesterday. Unsure when it will ship though. I haven't gotten any kind of shipping notification, yet.
 
I to am in the same position, ordered from bugoutgearusa.com and being annoyed with the continued delay. I do have some bad news for you though. If you look at the contact phone #'s on the two sites(bugoutgearusa.com and jetbeamstore), they are the same. Calling the # gets you to the answering machine for bugoutgearusa.
 
please post here or pm me when you have any additional info. i ordered one from bugoutgear.com and have been waiting since november 23rd for them to be back in stock. since then, their ETA has been pushed back 6 times with a current ETA of december 12th. i'd rather buy from a store i know has them ready to ship.

good eye. strange that they have different shipping options (bog has usps insured and adds $1.60)

in any case, i/we have 6 days to research for a different EDC light. if they push back their ETA one more time, i will have to cancel my order and choose something else. I was having second thoughts because of the size of the CL-E v2 anyway.
 
The size does not bother me and I REALLY like how it looks. I am getting tired of the delays though. I will have to cancel as well if the date changes again....... SOOOO frustrating

i emailed bugoutgearusa.com at 11:14pm and received this reply 8 minutes later:

"Mark,

I understand your frustration and don't blame you. Jet Beam is the reason the ETA keeps getting pushed back. We just received an email from them telling us the C-LE's are shipping out to us tomorrow. They had a couple of manufacturing delays and then they have to QC the entire batch, which takes up most of the delay. I don't believe anyone else has them in stock, but if you would like to cancel your order we would be happy to do so. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

i do believe him, but i just hope jetbeam isn't pushing this batch out to market with any flaws.

this should hopefully be the last delay... we will see.
 
What about the MKII r? $67.00 says out of stock, but seeing some on Ebay for 44.99 from Hong Kong. Is that a good deal?

shipping on ebay from hong kong is probably $20. same with the cl-e v2. i thought it was a steal at $19... until i saw the shipping.
 
I'm sure they will be worth the wait. My original C-LE (version 1) has been in my pocket, with change and keys, every day since I got it (last Feb?), and it still looks new and works perfectly, with an excellent beam and UI.

That's why I choose this light as a present for 2 close relatives. I trust it. So, I'm willing to wait, especially since I believe these lights will be in each of my 2 nephews pockets for a good long time.

MstrHnky, thanks for the update! That always makes the waiting a bit easier.
 
Hey guys...

Thanks for your patience with the CLE delays. There was such an overwhelming response to these that our first shipment was sold out almost immediately. We put an order in the same day the 1st batch arrived, but they were already all sold out at JetBeam.

We now have a huge order in for their second batch of these and were informed that they are in transit via EMS(express mail) to us. They will be here sometime Monday or Tuesday. These types of delays are out of our control. We try to update our ETA times via our website and that is why the date kept changing. You can also check the dealer section for product updates.

Lastly, JetBeamStore.com is our other site(still under construction). I was unaware that it was active since we are still working out some bugs, but any orders placed there will be taken care of as well. JetBeamStore will only carry JetBeam products unlike our main store which carries many differenct lines(including some soon to be released exclusives that we are very excited about).
