JSB Rechargeable 123\'s

Has anyone tried direct driving a Lux III with one of these. If so, what were the results? What kind of current were you getting to the Lux? What was the Vf of the Lux III that you used?

Just looking for some info. This might make for a really nice DD pocket light.

Re: JSB Rechargeable 123\'s

tested mine from unknown bin lux, LD. Current measured to be 520 mA. depending on your Vf, that number can vary, up to 700 mA or more (?)

Re: JSB Rechargeable 123\'s

520mA sounds great to me. I guess I need to get some of these for a project I had in mind.

The downboy can handle lots of volts. You SHOULD be OK.

Thanks Tony. Up to 16V I think right?

Re: JSB Rechargeable 123\'s

to be save, yeah, 16V or below. it *might* be able to take 18V, like the other post, but 16 is your safe bet.

Will 2 RC123s work in a PR-T DB917 TX0J or TY0J?
