Just bought this need help...

I just purchased a streamlight polystinger led. I like the size of the light when I approach cars at night on traffic stops. However, i feel the beam is too focused and puts a tremendous glare on the vehicle windows. I would like to find a light that is similar in size, appearance, and brightness but would like to find something with a more adjustable beam (polystinger will not adjust at all) or one with a less focused beam. I would also like to have a rechargeable. It would be great to keep streamlight just because that is what my department issues and I have the vehicle charger already in my car.

I know that is a lot of wants but any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have a Polystinger so don't know how tight the beam is, it could be just to bright for your application without a low or medium mode. Take a look at this light.

Stay away from the HP for general patrol use. Its a great light and throws very well, but it is too tight and has no spill at all. I learned this the hard way $$$... The regular Stinger C4 led has a wider beam, I ended up switching mine out to this. The Strion is nice, but not as a primary light.
