After 2 frustrating days with an HO-M6R and 3 17670 batteries with nothing to put them in, I received my shipments from FiveMega and Litho today. 3 1185 bulbs, 3 1331 bulbs, a 3x17670 holder, and an MN - bipin adaptor. I've got the M6 all loaded up. Now I wait for nightfall...

WOW.

Noticeably brighter than both my RoP High and 5761. I thought the 5761 was supposed to be brighter. Maybe it is not at its full potential on Eneloops. I dunno. All I know is barring HID, the M6 is now the king of my collection. As it should be.

  1. WA1185 + 3x17670 = HOLA
  2. WA1331 + 3x17670 = LOLA, but brighter than I consider a LOLA
  3. HO-M6R = one of the most versatile lamp that I have. It's not the brightest, but then it can work with 3x17670, 6xCR123, and even 6xRCR123

Actually, don't forget to try another option
  4. WA1111 + 2x18650 = HOLA, just a bit dimmer than #1 above

:D

I won't be able to take comparison shots as I sold and shipped the Maglites last night, but I can take beamshots. It won't be as useful as DM51's thread, but more beamshots are never a bad thing.

Now I'm kinda wishing I had bought some CL-809 lamps for extra long runtimes. Oh well, the 1331 should run long enough for my purposes.

I just got my 1166 bulbs in haven't even had chance to test them, but still waitng for my batts to arrive.
