Hi guys,
today i recieved used Voltcraft CT 2500 charging station for a VERY reasonable price. Someone stopped using it and he offered it for only 1/3 of innitial price
! It has 0-24V span and can charge with up to 3A current at any Voltage! It has many programs for charging/discharging, refreshing, maintaining, reviving and monitoring ni-mh and ni-cad cells. It can also calculate self-discharge current of any cell.All parameters can be adjusted manually and electronic takes care for everything else. I tried to charge battery packs of different power tools and works great! it really speeds up charging, and with auto cut-off saves battery life.
I just need some ideas how to charge battery pack(s) from my Magcharger. I opened charging cradle and found some strange circuit inside. Even more, i simply don't know how transformer charges battery through that circuit because i can't read voltage on charging rings when flashlight isn't in the charging craddle. How the entire charging circle works?
On the other hand, i'll probably charge batteries separated from flashlight.
