I just got my new stainless steel edition Solarforce L2 today and put my M60 module in it. Man, this thing is alot heavier than I thought it would be. It weighed in at just over 12 oz. I want be carrying this one, it will be my around the house beater light. Maybe Ill use it to beat up some intruder! A couple of licks with this thing and he will be out cold, let along the spots he will be seeing from the M60.... Build quality is good but not perfect. The finish is nice and smooth, but if you look close, you can see some small machining blemishes here and there. Nothing major. The stainless is polished good with no sharp edges. I like it.

I tried swapping the L2's parts with my 6P. The bezel fit the 6P flawless, but I could not get the stainless tailcap to thread onto my 6P. My z59 fit the L2. I did not try the 6P surefire bezel on the L2. My M60 was loose even after I fully tightened the bezel. A o-ring between the lens and the m60 fixed that problem. The reason for this is that the L2 was machined so that dropins could work with the large outer spring attached with no annoying bezel gap. 18650's fit perfectly. I noticed a little bit of rattle with 123 primaries. Not a problem for me.

The switch is a reverse clickie. What do I need to do to convert it to a forward clickie? Where to buy?

Check out the tactical switch on my L2M, that's a forward clickie. Dealers (eg Lighthound) or ebay have them. But, be aware some dislike the feedback of this switch, it's a bit squishy but serves it's purpose as "tactical" being very silent and all.

Just pulled the trigger on a L2 forward clickie to switch the insides out with my stainless switch. Should work fine. Thanks for the suggestions.
