Jst got my Dereelight dbs v3 q5 and am happy with it, didint know it had 3 modes low med max lol.

Will try and get some beamshots & comparisons to my other lights up by friday as im working all week so dont have time, other lights will b fenix tk11 maglite 3d led and maglite 3d normal.

jst a bit of help needed im not one for complaining or moaning and thats not what im doing but how can i tell if its the q5 or r2 i have in my dereelight ? i was offered the r2 ugrade but said i did want the q5 for the whiter beam but there are 2 small stickers 1 on inside of the box and one on the outside of the reflector saying its the r2 i have. Saying that the light is very white and looks as white if not whiter than my fenix tk11

Q5 and R2 has no effect on how white the light is.

As for what bin of LED, if you have a lightmeter, you may be able to measure a small difference in output, but this is unlikely because R2 and Q5 are quite closely matched.
