Hi,
I'm looking for a special Bin of red K2 with 630nm minimum dominant wavelength. So this is the 5 in the bin code.
All i can get here in germany is the r4g Bin with 620nm wavelength.
Any Ideas which supplier has them on stock and would ship this Bin to germany ?

Thank you verymuch

If you are a single end user not part of a company, it will be very difficult to select a bin when buying from future lumileds. They will only allow bin selection if you are a part of a company. Other wise you have to fess up to them to give you the bin you are looking for (believe me, it is a pain to fess up, because they barely every listen). If you do how ever get them to agree, you will probably have to pay a little more than normal. Other than that is the Luxeon III red emitter/ star a possible alternative, or are you set in stone to use the Luxeon K2.

Is this by chance for something like a RGBAW color mixing system that runs off of K2s? In that case your best bet is to go head hunting with lumileds customer service and Tell them that you need that high up bin for what you are doing.

sorry to raise this thread from the graveyard, but Ben-Horn- have you found your source for R5 binned K2s yet? I am currently E-mailing a future Rep and asking if they have any full reels of R5 binned Red K2s (Q bin luminous flux), I will keep you updated.
