Hi,

I have a TFFC K2 purchased from photophanatic, but cant find the datasheet where it says which side is the positive.

Do you know?

Thank you,
bigC

EDIT: Just discovered its the side with the notch.

To make things a little more complicated, only two of the leads actually connect to the die, as far as I can tell. I don't remember which pair you want to use, all I remember is they're diagonal from each other, much like on the SSC P4.

Here is the link if you need it, Luxeon® K2. It's under Support - Documentation Center - Datasheets. There is a picture at the bottom of page 15 showing which two terminals are active. Actually there's a bunch of pictures relating to identification of the anode and cathode.

Interesting they say not to make either anode or cathode common with the heatsink slug. The slug is electrically active, but common to neither lead. What's up with that?

Opps, I just noticed you're looking for the flip chip one. I have that pdf also and the picture is the same as the regular K2 link I posted. I could PM it to you if you need it.
