I've just received my battery pack and charger from Kaidomain. http://www.kaidomain.com/WEBUI/ProductDetail.aspx?TranID=3985
Charger terminates at 8.48V = 4.24V per cell. A little high for my liking. I hope the balancer is doing its job otherwise this pack isn't going to last long. I haven't left it to trickle charge but I would suggest removing the pack soon after the charger terminates.
I performed a runtime test with my quad cree XR-E driven at 825mA per emitter.
2 x AW C cells (3300mAh) -> 1hr 25mins until shutdown
Kaidomain pack (5000mAh) -> 2hr 49min until shutdown
The C cell charger I have terminates at around 4.18V per cell so its not an entirely fair comparison, but even so, this is very impressive giving twice the runtime of the AW C cells. I'm hoping that someone will test the balancing circuit on the pack i.e. put the pack through a few cycles and measure the voltage of each cell. I don't want to take off the shrink wrap on mine.
