Good question. I want to know as well. They make very sturdy lights. Great beam pattern even with smooth reflector.

I bought the 2AA model and it's great. I keep it in my car in the glove compartment of my car with some Duraloops. Great light too bad there are no other lights released after the first two. I didnt get the K1 model since I can't stand low pwm. It's possible they have gone since most that sell them are in 'to go' prices.

Does any retailer still have any in stock? I emailed Bryan at shiningbeam, and he evidently can't get anymore. I love my K1, and I want a K2. I placed an order with bestbuyoffer.com, but they couldn't fill it.
