got my old Kl1 apart nice enough..:twothumbs

now what..?

cree...?

whats gonna boost it...?

change the board?

just the emitter??

Just change the emmiter to an SSC, or if you have the guts wait for the new K2's to arrive and fit one in..You might want to change the optic to a McR20 also..

+1.....The cree does not fit into the old LED location....without modification. A Seoul or K2 will fit, and the use of an Mcr20 or Mcr20s will help. A new driver board could up the output..

It`s a gen1 head..
it`s going to loose it`s "fins" aswell and then be polished to fit the TNC body i got from Eric at TNC....

If it's a Gen. 1 then a Cree will fit. I modded my gen.1 last week with a seoul. I was thinking of doing a cree instead and using a different driver.

Keep us updated on what you do with this.

I was thinking I might should have added the info about it being gen1 one you said it wouldnt fit...

I will go with the cree i think..

I can not get those ribs off it fast enough....!
IMHO this is gonna look great..
