KL1 + Transformer = Desklamp ??

Seems like it should work - but I don't want to ruin the KL1. A 6 volt radio shack wall-wart would be perfect.

It should be fine! PK once mentioned that the 5 VDC power supplies for computers were ideal for the KL1. Dat2zip will soon have some Loc-Line stalks and an adapter that the KL1 can screw on to available. You will either need to solder leads to the KL1 or come up with a method of passing the power to the KL1 anode and cathode contacts.
