Knockoff Dell Latitude 9 cell batteries on ebay/Amazon

Anybody have any experience with some of these lower priced 9 cell extended batteries sold on ebay or Amazon?

I have a Latitude D420 with Dell 3 cell and 9 cell batteries. Both batteries are pretty much shot with runtimes around 1/2 hr.

A new Dell 9 cell sells for $140. Ebayers and Amazon have some chinese knock off 9 cells for $40 and up.

Friend of mine has an Acer 9 cell knock off for his Aspire One ZG5, it runs for a LOOOONG time on it. So far so good he's cycled it about 20 times with no ill effect, no heat up, etc. It charges very slowly which I hope keeps it alive longer, and safer. It's a gamble though as with any knock off. I'de make sure you get a good return policy and exercise some caution at first.
