Kobalt Hypercoil

Help Support Candle Power:

I saw it today in Lowes and had an impulse buy. Interesting light with li-ion and optional AAx3 battery housing. Li-ion recharges by plugging directly into the wall - there is no separate charger. It is cheap since its mostly plastic but pretty interesting none the less. The lens seams to be acrylic and the beam is actually pretty smooth at all focus levels. Now I just have to figure out where it will be practical for me to use.

I got one as a gift .
The coil part can be removed and then it turns into a flashlight with pivot head.
Kinda neat way to coil it around your neck to have the light on your chest or under your chin as a work light.
Like the fact that it has a rechargeable battery because I H A T E to buy batteries. And has another battery pack for aa batteries.
Adjustable beam for tight spot or wide flood (domed lens like a sipik clone) and its about 200 lumens.
Has strong magnets to attach it to a metal surface.
There is a B & D model too but it has a dozen leds, less bright and I dont think it comes apart.
