L0D/L1D/L2D/L2Pv2 Reviews - FlashlightReviews.com

Quickbeam,

many thanks, great and supremely useful reviews, as always. For a future review, may I suggest the Lumapower M3?

It shouldn't be out for some weeks, so it can fit into your lightened schedule after you do the Huntlight.

What caught my eye were the numbers for max output and throw for the L2D-CE which beat those of the P1D-CE. I believe that this was the same situation when comparing the L2T and the P1. Similar but not the same.

Thanks Quickbeam! I've had my L2D CE for a week and a half. I knew that Max was bright, but WOW. It is easily my brightest LED. I'm glad I waited and did not buy an L2P or L2T. I appreciate your hard work and time devoted to our hobby.

Thanks for the reviews, Doug :)
I own a P1D CE as a bicycle helmet light and was so impressed with the output, I ordered a L2D CE. Figure the L2D CE would make a great frame mounted bicycle light and after reading your review, I'm glad I did.
Eagerly awaiting the runtime charts and thanks again for taking your valuable time to review the LxD CE series.

Thanks for the review doug.

The L2D has incredible output!!! The only thing I don't understand is why High is brighter than Turbo on your L1D. Are you sure you switch the output numbers and accidently put the turbo number in the high slots and vis versa.

Hi Quickbeam!

Thanks for the reviews!, I have one question about the L2D, Do you know how much current is the Cree led recieving on the highest setting?

Thank you!

Excellent review, as always.

Thank you VERY MUCH.

I found it very interesting that on your sample L1D, the numbers on Max were slightly LOWER than when on High... and with shorter runtime as well.

:wtf:

Doug, thank you for the new reviews. I am glad you are only *semi* retired.:)

I am curious, for the output numbers on the L2D, what type of batteries were you using?
