I have searched to no avail...it shoes a cool snap on ring/ lanyard for the SF L1....

I was looking for that as well. My understanding is that Surefire designed it, showed it in their catalog, but it was never manufactured.

I guessed it would only be for L1, not enough units.

The Z60:

On the L1:

The same TailCap is used by the A2:

And it'll perhaps be used by more models in the future...

I believe Dan at TW was planning on getting some on order; might want to check with him.

You always find out the latest here at the CPF. I was just at the Crossroad Gun Show in Costa Mesa last Saturday looking for the Z60. No one had it. One dealer told me that he couldn't order it from Surefire.

I am glad that is not true. The lanyard hole at the clip is just not convenient, and it balance the light near horizontal not bezel down.

Nice new clip on the lanyard. Does that come with the lanyard? That looks like one of your Berkeley Point clips, Don!

Regarding the Crossroads show, I'm surprised that Leach Enterprises (nice older guy and wife) didn't have the z60. They usually have everything accessory wise and they're always at that show.
If your still looking for one try a visit to Plaza Cutlery in South Coast Plaza, (should be local to you). I've bought 2 or 3 z60s (as well as a couple of sc3's) from them and they seemed to have them as of last week anyway. The only problem w/them is they don't necessarialy know the sf product line that well....... Then again HB is right next door to SF so you could just do a will call at SF?

astrogrub,

I was talking to Mrs. Leach. I have bought most of my surefire collection from them. I am so used to wait for the show and buy things from them. I will check with SF directly. Thanks.

You must be an O C person to be so familiar with the area!

Yep south OC now but used to be in Costa Mesa, and I've bought a good portion of my SF stuff from Leach as well. They were the only folks to have N62 la's in stock and w/them. I hope he gets some more z60's for the next show. I'm suprised he didn't have them, then again alot of stuff is scarce these days. If SF direct doesn't have them you might still want to give Plaza Cutlery a try.
I don't know how this might relate but they still had some L4's, L1's and maybe some A2's in stock which might imply that they'd have the z60 too since folks searching for the more desirable SF items may not think of a cutlery shop first. Then again they are full retail so maybe the price is too high in comparison?
