Howdy everyone-

I did a simple search here but wasn't able to find a beam comparison between the SF L4 and a SF E2e.

Can somebody point me in the right direction?

Thanks,
Greg

Here you go.

Note these where take with the same iris setting to give an idea of the real brightness however the iris in the human works much better than a camera with light contrast.

That's a great comparison shot! Thanks! Whenever I grab something bigger than my Arc LS I want "throw"! So, that lets me know that, while the L4 looks awesome it may not be for me. THANKS!!

Oh man. We've been through this before. This just doesn't do the L4 justice, I'm afraid. What you need is two trees. Shine the two lights between them. You'll see a gap between the trees with the E2, and you'll actually see the two trees with the L4. You have to actually see it with your eyes to believe it. Do a search and find the last thread that had all the L4 comparison shots, and you'll see what I mean.

There is no question that the E2 will out-throw the L4. It all depends on what you want to see, and if you like yellow light. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

And in a dark room, the E2e will light up a small spot, the L4 lights up the whole darn room with white light! That picture really does not do the L4 justice!

See this thread for a great comparison shot:
Great Beam Shots

There is no E2e in these shots but the A2 is close enough.

There you go! That's the link I was looking for. Excellent. Sean's pictures match what my eyes actually see far better than many of the other beam shots (no offense to the "other" ones by any means! - my beam shots never show what my eyes see, so I've given up trying to do them).

Thank you all very much! I appreciate your efforts. I got what I was looking for.
