I know they make a kit for it but what about regular C-cell rechargeable? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Great timing, jtivat... I have an LC100 too - and wuz just thinking the same thing /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Anyone out there try their LC100 with nimh/nicad C's?

Tried it before, and you probably won't notice the runtime difference with them as compared to alkalines... Stuck in some 4500mah NiMH Cs, but haven't done a runtime test on it yet... It's just as bright as with regular alks...

I think I remember to have read somewhere that it does work only the total runtime is shorter. !Cannot find that though so don't take it 100% serious! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Jt, the rechargeable kit you are mentioning isn't that for other lights from the UKE series? I didn't know it could also be used with the LC100.

Nope they just came out with one designed for the LC100 I have not seen it for sale anywhere yet. I read about it in my dive training magazine they claim it makes it 20% brighter.
