I just got an Underwater Kinetics LC100 for my birthday a few weeks ago. I have used it on one dive and it worked great this thing really lights up the water. When I got back from the dive I turned the light on and there was nothing I could hear the ballast trying to strike the lamp but no light. I then took it apart and put it back together and it worked fine until tonight when I tried it again and the same problem it tried to fire but nothing. It will do this on and off sometimes working and sometimes not any ideas? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

The only time I have that problem is when the batteries get low.

Because of the regulation circuit, the LC 100 will actually work down to voltage of 6.5 volts, but needs a minimum of 8.7 volts to start (not exactly sure of the numbers... the UK engineer told me last year)

They changing the batteries. NiCads work well for about 125-130 minutes. Duracells go for 3 1/2 hours

It has less then an hour on the batteries but I will try new ones thanks. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
