what is the best place to order a wave tool. and what is the best price.

I've bought my last couple of Leathermen from http://www.leathermanstore.com/ they have decent prices and its only $5 for shipping unless the order is over $100 then shipping is free. They've got the Wave for $59.95, which is pretty competitive from what I've seen.

I bought mine from REI on sale for that.

go to walmart $59.00 and you dont have to pay shipping.., that way you wont have to wait to get it, and also you can play with one, and see if it is right for you, assuming you never handled one before. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Edited: sorry I didnt notice you were from Germany /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif, I dont think they have walmarts there..

thanks for the info.
i use my wavetool as dutyknife/tool for my policework. members of my squad asked me if i can get them wave tools from the usa. in germany the retail price for a wave tool is over 127 euro, that is about 158 $. i have tried to get the wave at the US army base in darmstadt but they are sold out. so i have to find a dealer that ships international and have the wave on sale.

Costo sells them. I havent checked costco.com but you may be able to swing something if you know someone who shops there.

I believe they sell them for $54 with a mini mag.

Tom, Good Idea! I see Marty selling stuff all the time but didn't think of it for this purpose. I bet he has experience shipping there, too.

We do have Wallmarts in Germany but they don't cary Leathermans. If you order outside EU there's a good chance to pay VAT+customs extra - I would buy from ebay.de for under 70 EUR.

I didn't know that shipping to apo was such a pain.
