I have an odd problem, the LED is barely lit at all...And I mean you can close it in your fist and put it right to your eye to discern the level of brightness.......
Since it seems to get some power, do I assume its LED related...or can it be a component issue?
Where would you start....?
Thanks
Tony

In order to help you, we need to know the brand/model of the flashlight and which cells/batteries are installed in it. ie: if the light uses AA cells, are the cells alkaline or rechargeable cells? If rechargeable AA cells, when was the last time you charged the cells on which charger? If rechargeable cells, which brand and capacity? Do you have a multimeter to verify the voltage on the cell(s)?

Voltage over 4.0....I tried to clean them and i did do a battery direct to the spring and a wire to pill from the minus side...
Also tried clicking the switch again repeatedly and interestingly enough I got modes, albeit at a micro level of output
