LED Cup Heatsinks

Hi Guys,

just wondering if anyone knows where I can get the cup style LED Heatsinks, something like this

somewhere that doesn't have a 2000 min order.

I'm designing a LED light bar for an aquarium and figure it'd be cheaper to use these over a large solid chunk of heatsink.

I know they are not cupped, but some of them are at least radial.

Remove the fan and you have a cupped heatsink:

Plenty of VGA coolers on ebay. Removing the fan turns it into a cupped heat sink.

blaster, that site you linked to is awesome, have you had any experience with the leds there?

Yep. Used a lot of their components.

Like all inexpensive Asian LED electronics, some stuff is great bargain and performs very well. For others you should look at alternatives. Depends on what it is.

edit...might be able to get some from a local machinist (...cutting extruded stock)
