I've seen the 3 led models that run on button-cells for around $12-$16, and am wondering if there's a better option.
The baton I'm speaking of is:

Not an ASP unfortunately, but it's a pretty universal screw-on endcap. I had an ASP once upon a time, but methinks a buddy punked it when he was helping me with a move. (Nice buddy!)
I'd prefer to use something with more commonly available batteries, like AAA or AA, but I realize that might pose problems in terms of unit size and therefore durability while the baton is used for defense.
Use of this baton is only during night walks with the dog, or possibly as a back-up car weapon, so I'm not that concerned with the possiblity that the light might break during stressful use of the baton in a self-def situation.
- Is my only real choice the 3 led button cell option?
- if so, does anyone have a thought for good OTD (cost+s/h) price
