I saw a guy using one of those at Disneyland the last time I was down there. We were in a dark restaurant, and when he talked on the thing, his face lit up like a beacon. A rainbow beacon. Not sure I need to call THAT much attention to myself when I talk on my cell phone! I'm afraid the "gee wiz" factor would wear off in the first few seconds of use. The guy looked positively radioactive. Plus, I even turn off the backlight on my phone to preserve power.

Good point. But I try to avoid things that make me look like a complete LED weenie. I can't even invent a need for a phone that looks like Craig's apartment at Christmas. And I'm pretty darn good at inventing "needs."
