I am unsure about the input voltage of a few DC led assemblies that I have.
Most are 12v automotive brake lights. Some have 9-15v written on them others have 12-24v on them and some say 12v only.
If I give these lights power from a higher voltage battery, say 18v DC or 28v DC will the lights work? Will they only draw the 12v that they need or will they break because of the high voltage?
