Led lenser M5 quick review

I just bought this M5 purely out of curiosity, 39,95 EUR.

Distance in all pictures is 1.10m

Qmini AA with 14500 and lenser M5 with nimh:

I tried to mach the spots to same size without artifacs on the M5.

M5 tele:

M5 wide:

Has 3 modes: Hi, low, strobe. No memory and forward clicky.
Definite pwm on low mode, I'd say a bit higher frequency than itp a3.
Had it running on high about an hour, no visible decrease in output yet.

For some reason my old canon doesn't like to co-op with my computer now.

I measured current draw from tailcap with nimh:
1A on high.
0,35A on low.

Why is the color temperature so dull on all LED Lensers its more purple than white and all of their flashlights are overpriced

either the oring is too lubricated, or the oring is worn out.
