LED pointers?

Has anyone seen one of these in action? Are these really focused to anywhere near laser pointer sized beams? For the price I would hope they were something special. I guess I'll just have to add it to the list.

I just looked at the UV model a little closer and saw that you can choose between 10 degree and 120 degree beam angle. Now I'm really confused, what the hell are these things? $120.00 is pretty steep if it's just a flashlight in a different body.
