Led Type designation

Hi Forum,
Although I can find plenty of place to purchase the pictured LED I cannot seem to find the designation ( eg like 5050 LEDs) is it a luxeon LED?

Is this led format being discontinued - I see a lot of sights with last stock notes?

can anyone advise the designation of this type of LED and where I may find CAD files to create PCB solder points for this type of LED?

looks like a luxeon batwing led, there`s a few places on ebay that sell them still.
maybe have a look through Eagle or Dip-Trace pad files for it, both of those were around when these were being used.

Appreciated - does that mean this type of LED is end of life or phased out? - I assume there is a another SMD replacement equivalent?

Interesting, I just "repaired" a 12vdc spotlight recently purchased which uses these, or at least similar, so they
must be still out there.

Datasheet appears to be a lower power version (1W) of the OP's and mine (3W, white ceramic pill).

Unfortunately in my case replacement LED would need exact part/bin match as they are wired in series/parallel
on the same driver; or I'd have to replace the whole lot (9 total).

If you are doing new design work, I would pick a more modern package. I don't believe any of the big players are still making packages like this, so you would be using technology that's pretty outdated.

Notice that the Luxeon datasheet posted is from 16 years ago!
