Found this on wired... Interesting read concerning LEDs used to accelerate healing in cells:

Notice that 3 specific wavelengths were mentioned. It flies in the face of 'traditional' medicine, and is something that the new age community has been working with, along with other methods to increase the speed of healing. At least the medical community is more open to these things, than they used to be.
