i am a newb who has gone from hotwires, to HID's and i would love to step into the world of LED compatibility regarding all the parts and models listed in my subject line.

i see so many of these lights being cross built that i do not know who really belongs to who.

i would like to build a light with a clickie and a Q5 emitter being driven bright at 1a. as opposed to having a flood effect, i would be looking for a reflector in the head. I have looked over the lighthound website and saw MirageMan's bodies there aswell as leef's parts, and am missing vital pieces such as the heads or light engines to fit the head.

can someone help me out with suggesting of a light that can be put together just as easy as ordering parts for my mag85(1st build) which was from about 5 sellers.

would an "aleph" be the way to go ?
i don't mind using 18500 lions, or rechargable C123's

I have recently gotten into Alephs and find them satisfying. The parts aren't in production and some of them can be hard to acquire. The Shoppe doesn't sell any Q5 LEs, but someone can be found to make one up. I've done a couple of Q5s, one with a FLuPIC the other a NG1000, and they are quite bright, around 140-150 lumens with an RCR123.
