I plan to eventually use this 2x18650 Leef body with the M3 series lamps, but I also wanted to try an L6 bezel on 4 primary cells. Tailcap current with four fresh 123's was about 350mA, brightness visually seemed the same as a standard L6 running 3 cells.

Yes, it's a little large, but carried in one's front pocket the envious looks are worth the trouble.:lolsign:

Regarding the Leef body, the threads were all very smooth out of the box, and very minimal lube was applied. The machine work is as good as it gets! The checkering is well done, being grippy without being abrasive. Just under 10 inches overall length with the Z48 tailcap, and only a little less than 11 oz. total weight. The Maxpedition universal baton/light pouch holds it OK with the L6 bezel.

Primary cells rattle a little, enough that a wrap or two of heavy bond paper would already be in there except I don't have any on hand.

what do you think the runtime is with this setup? I'm tempted to get one.
